Analyses of part requests from around the world have revealed that the top 5 Brands of searched parts in the first quarter of 2013 are Cat, Volvo, JCB, Komatsu, Hitachi. This indicates that the big brands continue to keep a foothold in the market regardless of the effect the global recession is having on the industry.  Out of a total of 1779 processed parts requests almost half of the total requests were for machines for these 5 brands. The leading brand being Cat is ahead by almost half that of Volvo being the next largest brand.
